Rapidpave Water based Enamel - Semi Gloss

Surface preparation:

• For previously unpainted concrete floors, smooth bare concrete must be acid etched.
• Flush the surface with sufficient fresh water to remove acid traces.
• Allow complete drying of surface for 3-4 days.
• Previously painted surface shall be subjected to thorough removal of loose & flaking paint. For previously unpainted timber floors, sand thoroughly and wipe it clean.
• Fill the nail holes and cracks before painting. Ensure that surface is clean, dry and free from release agents, oils, grease, efflorescence and laitance.

Application Procedure:

• When applying over an unknown coating, please test adhesion & compatibility of this product over a small test area.
• New concrete/ cement floors must be Acid etch followed by thorough water wash. Apply first coat with 10-15% thinning to facilitate more penetration to the surface. Apply two coats of water based paving paint.
• For unsound concrete surfaces, first strip off old paint then apply one coat of Sureprep interior/Exterior Acrylic sealer undercoat followed by two coats of Water Based Paving Paint.
• For timber, particleboard and composite board apply one coat of Oilprep Interior/Exterior Wood Primer followed by two coats of water based paving paint.
• For galvanized iron apply one coat of Metacare Etch Primer AP 10 followed by two coats of water based paving paint.
• For bare steel apply Metalprep Interior/Exterior Enamel Primer followed by two coats of Water based paving paint.
